Tuesday Evening Kicker: 2021 Week 6 Recap October 19, 2021 Week 6 proved to be a little more exciting than the previous one. The Squirrels advanced their unbeaten streak to six games, the Kamikazes gifted the Renegades a win, the Jerky won a tough battle with Ecuador while the Scorpions, Blitz, and Grainers all won big. WR Cooper Kupp scored 40.5 points to lead Switzerland to another victory. Wookiees can’t catch the Squirrels; Switzerland remains unbeaten Switzerland Squirrels 190.4, Wake Island Wookiees 172.07 — Switzerland faced a surprisingly potent Wookiees offense this week, but they managed to hold them down en route to their sixth-straight victory. Cooper Kupp found the fountain of explosive playmaking again, tallying 40.5 points to lead the way. Adam Thielen poured on 36.25 points while Tom Brady added 25.3 and Aaron Jones finished with 23.6. The Wookiees were led by Matthew Stafford with 29.47 points. Marvin Jones went off for 28 points, James Robinson tacked on 22.5 and Damien Harris finished with 21.4. Next Week: Switzerland faces a tough challenge to their undefeated record against Nagasaki. Wake Island tries to take down Ukraine. WR CeeDee Lamb led the way for the Renegades with 43.05 points. Kamikazes pull up short, yield to Renegades Russia Renegades 198.12, Nagasaki Kamikazes 189.88 — Down 74 points heading into the fourth quarter, the Kamikazes elected to bench A.J. Brown, and yet still nearly pulled off the comeback. CeeDee Lamb led the way for the Renegades with 43.05 points. Najee Harris rolled up 29.5 points and Mike Gesicki added 24.25. Derrick Henry was the one responsible for narrowing the gap, finishing with 39.6 points to lead the Kamikazes. Kyler Murray added 30.63 points while Cole Beasley (26.05), Diontae Johnson (24.55) and Travis Kelce (23.65) all had big weeks as well. Next Week: Russia will try to capitalize against the rebuilding Crabs. Nagasaki could take out the unbeaten Squirrels — or will they lay down again? RB Leonard Fournette tallied 35.1 points to help lead Turkey to victory. Jerky bring down the Ewoks, even their record at 3-3 Turkey Jerky 155.78, Ecuador Ewoks 142.25 — The Ewoks closed the gap in the fourth quarter, but the Jerky hung on for a tough win. Leonard Fournette popped off for a surprising 35.1 points. Darrell Henderson added a whopping 28.9 and D’Andre Swift tacked on 20.3. For the Ewoks, Brandin Cooks (23.65), DeAndre Hopkins (23), and Ezekiel Elliott (22.3) all had strong performances in the loss. Next Week: Turkey will try to win again when they face San Juan. Ecuador will look to rebound against a red hot Blitz team. QB Dak Prescott scored 32.43 points to lead Bangkok to victory. Blitz blast the Jerks, win fourth straight Bangkok Blitz 167.93, Jamaica Jerks 128.48 — Bangkok has now won four straight games after their early season struggles, pounding the Jerks into submission. It was a low-scoring week for the Blitz offense. Dak Prescott led the way with 32.43 points. Jonathan Taylor added 31.6 points and Tyreek Hill finished with 28.6. For the struggling Jerks, Dalvin Cook put up 28.1 points while Joe Burrow added 26.78. The Rams finished with 18.55 points while five other starters scored in single digits. Next Week: Bangkok will look to stay hot against Ecuador. Jamaica will attempt to recover offensively when they face Egypt. QB Josh Allen scored 36.92 points in San Juan’s big win. Scorpions scoot past the Pharaohs to advance to 5-1 San Juan Scorpions 178.57, Egypt Pharaohs 140.93 — The defending champions continue to churn out victories, this time topping the Pharaohs in convincing fashion. Josh Allen led the way with 36.92 points, Stefon Diggs pitched in 30.65, and Darrel Williams found the scoreboard with 28.1. Joe Mixon (29.9) and Patrick Mahomes (28.93) were the leading scorers for the Pharaohs in the loss. Sterling Shepard also pitched in 23.6 points. Next Week: San Juan will try to keep rolling when they take on Turkey. Egypt could rebound against a struggling Jamaica team — or take the next step to a better draft position. WR Jaylen Waddle blew up for 35.25 points to lead Ukraine to victory. Grainers overwhelm the Crabs in blowout Ukraine Grainers 174.58, Christmas Island Crabs 126.95 — Rookie wide receiver Jaylen Waddle had his breakout performance of the season with 35.25 points to lead the Grainers over the Crabs. Courtland Sutton piled on 30.4 points, Noah Fant added 29.95 and Carson Wentz finished with 18.68. The Crabs were led by Christian Kirk with 22.5 points, Mark Andrews with 21.8 and Emmanuel Sanders with 18.1. Next Week: Ukraine faces an unpredictable Wake Island team. Christmas Island faces a tough challenge from Russia.
