Kamikazes exact revenge on Crabs, earn ticket to Super Bowl

Nagasaki Kamikazes 224.73, Christmas Island Crabs 169.03 — Well, it wasn’t with former Crab and current highest-paid player in the league Michael Thomas in the lineup, but the Kamikazes earned a measure of revenge against the defending champion Crabs with a big Southeast Conference title victory. Quarterback Kyler Murray (35.78) and receiver DeAndre Hopkins (35.45) paced the Kamikazes in the victory. Running back Aaron Jones scored 28.8 points, tight end Travis Kelce added 28.3, and receiver Diontae Johnson finished with 24.15. For the Crabs, tight end Logan Thomas led the way with 29.35 points. Rookie running back D’Andre Swift tallied 24.2 points and receiver D.J. Moore finished with 23.4. The normally reliable Russell Wilson struggled with just 16.93 points. The Crabs left 52.49 points on the bench, but not even an optimal lineup would have saved the day. Next Week: Nagasaki faces San Juan in the Super Bowl. Christmas Island takes on Russia in the third-place game.
