Russia secured a win over Jamaica with a strong fourth quarter. Egypt moved into sole possession of first place in the South Division with a victory and a Turkey loss to Christmas Island. Ukraine limped across the finish line in a victory over Ecuador. RB Josh Jacobs racked up 33.8 points to lead Russia to victory. Renegades clamp down on Cook, slide by Jerks Russia Renegades 183.98, Jamaica Jerks 170.2 — One of the hottest players in the MFFL, running back Dalvin Cook, entered Week 10 having scored 98.2 points over the previous two weeks. The Renegades clamped down on him in the fourth quarter to pick up their sixth-straight victory. Running back Josh Jacobs led the way for the Renegades with 33.8 points. Rookie receivers Justin Jefferson (26.5) and Tee Higgins (26.25) had strong performances. Quarterback Justin Herbert continued to roll with 24.03 points. For the Jerks, receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling had a season-high 28.4 points to lead the team. Cook added 21.2 points, running back J.D. McKissic finished with 19.5, and the Los Angeles Rams defense tallied 18.95. Next Week: Russia faces a tough challenge against San Juan. Jamaica tries to maintain its playoff push against Ecuador. RB D’Andre Swift tallied 29.1 points to lead Christmas Island. Crabs take out the Jerky Christmas Island Crabs 156.97, Turkey Jerky 121.37 — The defending champion Crabs maintained their grasp on the top wild card spot in the Southeast Conference with a big victory over Turkey. Rookie running back D’Andre Swift led the team with 29.1 points. Receiver D.J. Moore scored 23.35 points, kicker Matt Prater had 17.9, and running back Miles Sanders tallied 16.5. For the second straight week, running back was a problem area for the Jerky as Derrick Henry scored in the teens (15.7) and Melvin Gordon tallied single digits (6.8). Receiver Mike Evans led the team with 25.45 points and Rex Burkhead added a surprising 23.8. Next Week: The Crabs will take on the Wookiees in an Island battle. Turkey takes on a red-hot Nagasaki. QB Tom Brady picked up 33.97 points in Egypt’s win. Pharaohs knock out Wookiees, move into first place Egypt Pharaohs 126.77, Wake Island Wookiees 85.53 — Paired with a Turkey loss, Egypt claimed possession of first place in the South Division with a big victory over Wake Island. Backup quarterback Tom Brady had a huge game filling in for Patrick Mahomes with 33.97 points. Running back Ronald Jones racked up 28.4 points while Darius Slayton added 17.55 and Sterling Shepard finished with 13.7. With a trio of their core players on bye, the Wookiees failed to top 100 points. Backup quarterback Nick Foles had just 6.68 points, Mike Davis tallied 9.8 in relief duty, and receiver Emmanuel Sanders was held to just one catch for 2.25 points. Kamikazes blast the Blitz Nagasaki Kamikazes 175.22, Bangkok Blitz 156.03 — The Kamikazes won their eighth game of the season and their fifth in the last six games with a strong victory over Bangkok. Quarterback Kyler Murray once again led the team with 35.97 points. Receiver DeAndre Hopkins finished close behind with 30.2 points while fellow receiver Davante Adams added 22.1 points. Running backs James Robinson (17.8) and Aaron Jones (17.1) were strong as well. The Blitz were led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers (28.83), receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster (27.95) and running back Antonio Gibson (25.1). Veteran Antonio Brown tallied 17.3 points in his second action of the season. Next Week: Nagasaki looks to keep rolling against Turkey. Bangkok will try to keep pushing for the playoffs when they face South rival Egypt. RB Alvin Kamara blew up for 36.4 points in San Juan’s win. Scorpions crush the Squirrels San Juan Scorpions 189.92, Switzerland Squirrels 109.58 — San Juan won its third-straight game, its eighth of the season, and its sixth by more than 40 points in a resounding victory over Switzerland. The Scorpions had three players score over 30 points in Alvin Kamara (36.4), Josh Allen (33.87) and Stefon Diggs (30.05). Running back Nick Chubb scored 22.4 points in his return to action and receiver Terry McLaurin totaled 21.15. Receiver Adam Thielen scored 24.05 points to lead the Squirrels in the loss. Tight end Mark Andrews put up 16.35 points, and receivers D.J. Chark (12.85) and Cooper Kupp (12.25) were instrumental as well. Next Week: San Juan has a big matchup with Russia. Switzerland faces a stiff challenge against North rival Ukraine. WR Brandon Aiyuk picked up 25.4 points in Ukraine’s win. Grainers grind the Ewoks Ukraine Grainers 130.88, Ecuador Ewoks 104.9 — The normally potent Grainers scored well below their season average, but secured a victory over the Ewoks to maintain position for a run at the North title. Just one player, receiver Brandon Aiyuk (25.4), finished with more than 20 points. Six others finished with 12 points or less. Receiver Chris Godwin tallied 18.7 points and running back Damien Harris added 16.5. Running back Wayne Gallman scored 22.6 points to lead Ecuador in the loss. The Chicago Bears defense added 18.4 points and running back Boston Scott finished with 15. Next Week: Ukraine will push to reclaim first place in the North when they face Switzerland. Ecuador looks to rebound against Jamaica.
