A lineup snafu might have cost the Ewoks a victory. And three other games turned into 40-plus-point blowouts. QB Kyler Murray scored 29.92 points to lead Nagasaki to the victory. Scorchin’ the Grain: Kamikazes soar past Ukraine Nagasaki Kamikazes 194.32, Ukraine Grainers 162.77 — In one potential Super Bowl matchup, the Kamikazes raced out ahead of Ukraine and never looked back. Quarterback Kyler Murray (29.92), wide receiver A.J. Brown (26.35), tight end Travis Kelce (24.25) and rookie receiver Chase Claypool (20.5) were the big scorers for the Kamikazes. The Steelers defense also pitched in with 24. Quarterback Deshaun Watson led the way for the Grainers with 33.57 points. Tight End George Kittle (29.9) and receiver Will Fuller (29.55) had big performances in the loss as well. Next Week: Nagasaki tries to keep it rolling when they face Ecuador. Ukraine will host Bangkok. WR Justin Jefferson tallied 45.35 points in Russia’s big win. Call it a Comeback: Renegades sneak past the Wookiees Russia Renegades 170.6, Wake Island Wookiees 164.02 — The Renegades scored 27 fourth-quarter points to engineer a comeback victory over the Wookiees. Rookie receiver Justin Jefferson led the team with 45.35 points. Quarterback Lamar Jackson scored 31.8 points and receivers Calvin Ridley (22.35) and CeeDee Lamb (17.9) were instrumental as well. For the Wookiees, receiver Julio Jones returned from injury to rack up 39.2 points. Quarterback Matt Ryan added 33.47 points. Running backs Mike Davis (14.1) and Todd Gurley (13.7) pitched in as well. Next Week: Russia will tangle with Egypt. Wake Island takes on Jamaica. RB Ronald Jones scored 30.7 points in Egypt’s win. Tortoise and the Hairy Ewok? After slow start, Pharaohs outpace Ecuador Egypt Pharaohs 143, Ecuador Ewoks 126.85 — The Pharaohs trailed the Ewoks early but outpaced them the rest of the game to pick up the victory. Running Back Ronald Jones led the way with 30.7 points. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes pitched in with 24.35 points while running back Joe Mixon added 18.5. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill led the way for the Ewoks with 29.63 points. Receiver Brandin Cooks added 26.55 points and the Chicago Bears defense finished with 19.55. Next Week: Egypt tries to keep things rolling when they face Russia. Ecuador faces a tough matchup with Nagasaki. WR Stefon Diggs helped lead the charge for the Scorpions with 20.1 points. Blitz fall flat as Scorpions rumble to victory San Juan Scorpions 156.22, Bangkok Blitz 115.83 — A tough Scorpions defensive effort stifled the Blitz offense, including some of the bigger-named players in Bangkok’s lineup. Receivers Stefon Diggs (20.1) and Terry McLaurin (19.4) led the way for San Juan. Running back Myles Gaskin (20.2) and quarterback Josh Allen (18.37) were significant contributors, too. Rookie running backs Clyde Edwards-Helaire (26.1) and Jonathan Taylor (17.9) were among the leading scorers for the Blitz. Receiver Christian Kirk pitched in with 24.35 points. Six Blitz players finished in single-digits, including quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who was thrust into action following the injury to Dak Prescott. Next Week: San Juan travels to Christmas Island for a date with the Crabs. Bangkok faces another stiff test against Ukraine. QB Carson Wentz racked up 31.25 points to lead Christmas Island to victory. Crabs clamp down on Squirrels, cruise to victory Christmas Island Crabs 188.7, Switzerland Squirrels 145 — The Crabs and Squirrels got into an explosive first quarter before the defending champions eventually pulled away. Quarterback Carson Wentz filled in admirably for Russell Wilson, who was on his bye, leading the team with 31.25 points. Rookie running back DeAndre Swift had his breakout performance with 30.1 points. Receiver Keelan Cole tallied 24.55 points while D.J. Moore pitched in with 19.05. Quarterback Gardner Minshew scored 22.35 points to pace the Squirrels in the loss. Running Back James Conner finished with 21.2 points. Receivers Cole Beasley (17.75), Adam Thielen (16.85), and D.J. Chark (16.5) had decent performances as well. Next Week: Christmas Island faces a tough matchup against San Juan. Switzerland will take on the red hot Jerky. RB Derrick Henry exploded for 44.8 points in Turkey’s blowout victory. Hands off the Jerky, Jerks! Turkey Jerky 205.22, Jamaica Jerks 115.33 — The Jerky continue their every-other-week, on-again-off-again flirtation with greatness, scoring the most points in the league in a rout over the Jerks. Running backs Derrick Henry (44.8) and newly-acquired Kenyan Drake (32.4) exploded for Turkey. Receiver Amari Cooper (25.9) and kicker Brandon McManus (24.2) were big scorers as well. For the Jerks, quarterback Cam Newton came back from COVID to lead the way with 24.68 points. Tight End Rob Gronkowski had a blast-from-the-past game with 22.8 points. Receiver Kenny Golladay tallied 17.5 points in the loss. Perhaps what hurt the Jerks most was their starting backfield of Alexander Mattison (6) and Mark Ingram (3) combined for just 9 points.
