There are three 5-1 division leaders after six weeks of MFFL action. The battle of the “Islands” produced a clear winner and shaped the East Division. And Bangkok is nearly halfway to 13 … losses, that is.

Ukraine forces out Russian invaders; takes control of North

Ukraine Grainers 185.03, Russia Renegades 140.52 — Wide receiver Tyreek Hill made his triumphant return to the lineup and scored 25 points to help lead the Grainers to victory. Quarterback Deshaun Watson led the team with 37.03 points. Running back Christian McCaffrey (26.1), wide receiver Chris Godwin (25.1) and tight end George Kittle (20.3) all contributed to the victory. Quarterback Lamar Jackson scored 38.12 points for the Renegades in the loss. Running back Kerry Johnson (16.7), and wide receivers D.J. Moore (16.7) and Calvin Ridley (14.8) were also instrumental in the defeat. Next Week: Ukraine looks to keep rolling against Wake Island. Russia does battle with Christmas Island.

Turkey invades Egypt; seizes control of the South

Turkey Jerky 141.78, Egypt Pharaohs 108.85 — Turkey got 30.6 big points from running back Devonta Freeman as the Jerky scored a big division victory over Egypt. Quarterback Tom Brady (28.88) and wide receiver Mike Evans (20.6) were also big scorers in the victory. For the Pharaohs, quarterback Patrick Mahomes scored 18.95 points, while running backs Phillip Lindsay (18.5) and Mark Ingram (18) had solid outings. Next Week: Turkey faces a stiff test in Jamaica. Egypt will take on the defending champion Scorpions.

Kamikazes blow up the Blitz; keep control of the East

Nagasaki Kamikazes 140.78, Bangkok Blitz 114.05 — Nagasaki received 32.48 points from quarterback Kyler Murray and 30.7 from running back Chris Carson in the big victory over Bangkok. Running back Le’Veon Bell added 15.1 points while the Panthers kicker tallied 16.4. For the struggling Blitz, wide receiver Stefon Diggs awoke from his slumber to score 43.9 points. Quarterback Baker Mayfield scored 23.1 points and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins tallied 16.5. Next Week: Nagasaki will defend its turf against the Squirrels. Bangkok will look for their first victory (or not?) against Ecuador.

Jerks “kick” ankle-biting Ewoks; maintain control of West

Jamaica Jerks 149.6, Ecuador Ewoks 136.92 — Jamaica received 20.4 points from an unusual source — the Lions Kicker — as the Jerks kicked away West Division rival Ecuador. Jamaica’s dominant run game took a back seat in this one as tight end Austin Hooper (28.7) and wide receiver Julian Edelman (20.3) joined their kicker in the fun. Running back Leonard Fournette did have 21.8 points, though. The Ewoks received 31.8 points from running back Ezekiel Elliott and 30.6 points from David Johnson in the loss. Quarterback Philip Rivers added 17.37 points. Next Week: Jamaica will try to stay hot when they take on Turkey. Ecuador will look to right the ship against Bangkok.

Scorpions overrun the Squirrels; keep pace with Jamaica in West

San Juan Scorpions 185.45, Switzerland Squirrels 111.58 — The Scorpions got 31.9 points from running back Nick Chubb as the defending champions went on to win their fourth victory of the season. Quarterback Kirk Cousins had a big outing with 28 points while wide receiver Alshon Jeffery tallied 23.6. Switzerland received 34.1 points from running back James Conner in the loss. Wide receiver Adam Thielen notched 17.9 points while quarterback Jameis Winston finished with 13.13. Next Week: San Juan will do battle with Egypt. Switzerland will try to bounce back against Nagasaki.

Christmas “Wake”-up call: Crabs bring down the Wookiees

Christmas Island 150.18, Wake Island Wookiees 126.47 — In a game that featured one-hundredth of a point difference between the two quarterbacks, Christmas Island asserted its Island supremacy with a big East Division victory over Wake Island. Quarterback Russell Wilson continued his dominance with 32.48 points. Rookie running back Miles Sanders scored 18.8 big points while wide receivers Kenny Golladay (17.1) and Michael Thomas (16.9) contributed as well. Quarterback Matt Ryan scored 32.47 points for the Wookiees in the loss. Wide receiver Julio Jones notched 18.8 points and running back Kenyan Drake finished with 15. Next Week: Christmas Island will take on the Renegades. Wake Island faces Ukraine.
