RB Dalvin Cook scored 29 points in the Jerks’ victory. “Runnin’ down a dream”: Jerks backfield “won’t back down” Jamaica Jerks 178.87, Russia Renegades 167.72 — Jamaica’s high-powered offense, led by their dynamic backfield, took down the MFFL’s last remaining unbeaten, Russia. Running backs Dalvin Cook (29), Leonard Fournette (28.3) and Austin Ekeler (21.9) paved the way for the Jerks. Not to be outdone, wide receiver Julian Edelman joined the fun with 25 points and quarterback Jared Goff finished with 22.72. For the Renegades, running back Josh Jacobs led the way with 34.5 points. Wide receivers Allen Robinson (28.7) and Courtland Sutton (19.2) were key contributors in the loss. Next Week: Jamaica will take on Ecuador in a West Division matchup. Russia has a North Division battle with Ukraine. RB Aaron Jones exploded for 53 points in Nagasaki’s victory. Jones-ing for an East victory: Nagasaki topples Wake Island Nagasaki Kamikazes 184.53, Wake Island Wookiees 105 — Running back Aaron Jones exploded for the Kamikazes, scoring 53 points to lead the team to an East Division victory. Quarterback Kyler Murray tacked on 30.73 points and running back Chris Carson added 24.7. For the Wookiees, quarterback Matt Ryan led the team in scoring with 36.3 points. The Patriots defense scored 21.7 and running back Frank Gore added 11.7. No other Wookiee tallied double figures. Next Week: Nagasaki faces Bangkok in a non-division matchup. Wake Island takes on Christmas Island in a battle of the East Division isles. RB Marlon Mack tallied 23.6 points for the Scorpions. Stings, doesn’t it? Scorpions run through the Ewoks San Juan Scorpions 163.96, Ecuador Ewoks 109.18 — San Juan picked up a big West Division victory by taking down the Ewoks. The Scorpions used a balanced attack from top to bottom, but were led by running backs Marlon Mack (23.6) and Alvin Kamara (20.28) as well as quarterback Andy Dalton (22.38). Only T.Y. Hilton failed to reach double figures. Running backs David Johnson (22) and Ezekiel Elliott (19.5) led the Ewoks in the loss. Quarterback Philip Rivers added 11.93 and tight end Mark Andrews finished with 10.5. Next Week: San Juan will look to keep rolling when they take on Switzerland. Bangkok’s offense continued to struggle in this one. Running back Todd Gurley led the way with 20.7 points. Wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins tallied 15.8 and tight end Will Dissly notched 14.5. Had the Blitz run the Wildcat the entire game, they would have finished with a slightly higher score as quarterback Baker Mayfield finished with -0.67 points. Running back Christian McCaffrey (51.5), quarterback Deshaun Watson (41.7) and wide receiver Chris Godwin (31.5) accounted for 58% of the team’s points. Tight end George Kittle (23) also contributed to the onslaught. For the Squirrels, wide receiver D.J. Chark continued his stellar campaign with 36.4 points in the loss. Receiver Adam Thielen tacked on 32 points and quarterback Jameis Winston finished with 18.45. Next Week: Ukraine will host Russia for a North Division battle. Wide receiver Michael Thomas led the team with 41.2 points. Quarterback Russell Wilson (29.98) and wide receiver Tyler Boyd (28.3) also scored big in the win. Running backs Phillip Lindsay (27.7) and Mark Ingram (16.7) were among the contributors for the Pharaohs in the loss.
