Thomas, Renegades slip past Scorpions

Russia Renegades 165.29, San Juan Scorpions 159.24 — Wide receiver Michael Thomas got open behind the Scorpions’ defense for a fourth-quarter touchdown to push Russia past San Juan. For the Renegades, Thomas rocked the scoreboard with 39.10 points, Kareem Hunt pounded out 36.50 points, and O.J. Howard snatched up 21.30 points. For the Scorpions, the Minnesota Vikings made a killing with 41.87 points, Alvin Kamara propelled the team with 37.40 points, and Nick Chubb slugged out 20.40 points. For the Kamikazes, James Conner helped lead the team in scoring with 34.10 points, Travis Kelce heaped on 28.90 points, and Cam Newton soaked up 24.48 points. For the Pharaohs, Patrick Mahomes delighted the fans with 28.45 points, Phillip Lindsay wrapped up with 13.80 points, and Alex Collins dropped 12.70 points. Next week: Nagasaki will host San Juan and they open as a 1-point favorite. Egypt will host Russia and they open as a 18-point underdog.

Squirrels trip up the streaking Ewoks

Switzerland Squirrels 105.87, Ecuador Ewoks 93.67 — Ecuador’s three-game win streak came to an end at the hands of Switzerland. For the Squirrels, the Denver Broncos picked up 21.87 points, Cooper Kupp dropped 19.90 points, and Tom Brady ponied up 19.20 points. For the Ewoks, Ezekiel Elliott tacked on 18.60 points, Robert Woods contributed 12.90 points, and Marvin Jones gathered 12.60 points. Grainers ground the Jerks
